Crooked Landing House Rules

  • Please do not wear boots or shoes in the house.
  • Do not wash the blankets that are at the ends of the beds. If one needs to be cleaned, please let us know.
  • Please do not put shoes, bags, or suitcases on the bedspreads.
  • Keep all coolers outdoors.
  • There are several locked areas. Please do not access or attempt to access these locked closets, cabinets etc.
  • Please do not hang any towels, clothing items, etc., from the railing on the exterior of the property.
  • Hang bath towels and beach towels on the hooks in the bathrooms or bedrooms.
  • Keep furniture, both indoors and outdoors, in its original location.
  • Parking is available for five vehicles.
  • No washing of vehicles/powersports equipment or watercraft at the property, including the dock.
  • Snowmobiles are not to be driven on the driveway or yard.
  • No smoking or vaping anywhere on the property.
  • No pets (please see contract for further information).
  • Remove all trash from the dock to prevent it from going into the water.
  • No power cords or electric devices are to be on the dock at any time.
  • Refer to the Michigan DNR for fishing license requirements. Licenses can be required even if fishing from private property.
  • Clean the grill after each use.
  • Quiet hours are between 10 PM and 8 AM. (Please no loud music, loud shouting, etc., outdoors during this time)
  • Extra visitors are limited to 4 people without prior notice. Visitors must vacate by 12 AM. Visitors are not to use any provided items such as kayaks or paddle boards.
  • Please do not leave kayaks or paddle boards on the dock or grass.
  • Only use firewood that is purchased or brought in from local sources.
  • Clean fire roasting sticks after use.
  • Monitor the fire and make sure it is nearly out and contained before leaving the firepit area.
